Robert Stevens is a 1980 MBA from Loyola
University of New Orleans. He is a member of National, State of
Louisiana and New Orleans boards of realtors. He is a member of the
New Orleans Commercial Investment Division and an associate member
of CCIM. Mr. Stevens’ career began in 1978; while attending graduate
school he worked with a painting contractor and sold residential
real estate. In 1979 he accepted a position with South Central Bell
Telephone Company and performed corporate real estate acquisition.
In 1984 he accepted a position with The Travelers Insurance Company
and was the commercial investment manager for Louisiana performing
both commercial lending and asset management duties. From 1988 until
the opening of his own company Mr. Stevens performed property
management for two organizations. As Senior Vice President he ran
the operations for Westminster Management Company and later he was
President of Real Estate Management Company. Both of these
organizations were born from New Orleans premier office developers,
the Latter/Schlesinger family and Joseph C. Canizaro respectively.
In 1985 Mr. Stevens successfully completed all
course requirements for an MAI appraisal designation.
Real estate deals have taken Stevens throughout
Louisiana with primary activity in both metro New Orleans and Baton
Rouge. He has as well advised clients on properties in Mississippi,
Alabama and Florida.

Kenny Hurst joined The Stevens Group in August of 2004 after successfully challenging in almost 30 days the online curriculum for his real estate agent's license. Kenny has been in sales since 1982. He owned and operated TV Facts, a weekly TV listing magazine, from 1982 thru 1985. From 1985 through 1994 he had an advertising sales career in radio that included vendor marketing responsibilities with WWL, WLTS-FM/Lite 105 & WTKL-FM. In 1994 he ventured into industrial sales with Cleaning Systems of Louisiana. HE was responsible for design and sales of vehicle washing systems; clients included Genral Motors, Exxon, Shell and Chevron Oil Companies, as well as many private investors throughout Louisiana and Mississippi.
Kenny is active in Executive Acheivers Association and has been a member of the Advertising Club of New Orleans and past President in 1991-1992.
He attended LSU's Engineering School from 1969 to 1973. |
